Privacy policy

This website is for parents, teachers and other adults. The only personal information we collect is what you type into our waitlist form. We use it only to contact you about StatLix. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't collect information from children.

What we collect
From the waitlist form: your name and email; whether you're a parent, teacher, coach or school; the grade band you're interested in; and your confirmation that you're 18 or older. We don't ask for children's names, schools, photos or location.
When you visit
Like any website, our hosting provider receives your network (IP) address and basic browser details so it can deliver pages and block bots, and keeps them in its standard logs for a short time. We don't store your network address in our own database. To stop spam, we briefly turn it into a one-way scrambled code, which we delete within one day. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
To tell you about early access, launch and pilot programs. Nothing else. You can stop hearing from us at any time: reply to any of our emails or write to privacy@statlix.com.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us and may use it only to provide their service to us: Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting and bot protection) and Google Workspace (email). We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Where it's stored
Our database is in the United States (Virginia). Our hosting provider may briefly process requests elsewhere to deliver pages.
How we protect it
Your information is encrypted in transit, and only our team can access it.
Children
This website is for adults, and our waitlist form asks you to confirm you're 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has sent us details, email privacy@statlix.com and we'll delete them. Before StatLix opens to children, we'll publish a full children's privacy policy and ask for a parent's permission before collecting anything from a child.
Your choices
Email privacy@statlix.com to see, correct or delete your details, and we'll respond within 30 days. You can stop hearing from us at any time by replying to any of our emails or by emailing us.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it to contact you about StatLix. If you don't join StatLix, we delete your details within 12 months after launch.
Visitors in the UK and European Union
We use your details based on your consent, which you give when you join the waitlist and can withdraw at any time. You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your details, or object to how we use them. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Your details are transferred to and stored in the United States.
Do Not Track
We don't track you across other websites, so your browser's "Do Not Track" setting doesn't change anything here.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and email waitlist members about important changes.
